What is a Bottle?

What is a running bottle supposed to be?
It's a simple question, but it's one we've spent a lot of time thinking about at Swivel Bottle.
Look around at running today and you'll see an industry that's constantly evolving. Running shoes are lighter, faster, and more specialized than ever. Training programs are built on data. Watches track everything from pace to recovery. Even running apparel is engineered to improve comfort and performance.
Everything has evolved. Except the bottle.
Most runners are still carrying a product that works almost exactly the same way it did decades ago. One bottle, one liquid, one screw cap, and maybe a strap.
That's not because runners haven't changed. It's because nobody challenged the assumption that a running bottle should only do one thing.
We did.
Runners don't just need hydration. They need hydration and fuel. Water helps keep you moving. Electrolytes and carbohydrates help sustain performance. Both play an important role in training and race-day success. Yet most bottles force runners to choose between them.
The Swivel Bottle was designed to solve that problem. With a smooth 360° swivel design, runners can switch between hydration and fuel without carrying multiple bottles or interrupting their run. Combined with an ergonomic grip designed for comfort over long distances, the result is a bottle built specifically around how runners actually train.
Because our goal was never to make another water bottle. Our goal was to rethink what a running bottle could be. The running industry has evolved. We think the bottle should too.
